Sew Russia:Better Than Store Bought DIY Bacon, Egg and Cheese Crossiant

Hello everyone!

How was your weekend? Here in Louisiana were still recovong from the flooding that occured. No worries. Everything will work out in everyone’s favor. I have faith that it will be so!

I am excited to share this bacon, egg, and cheese crossiant breakfast sandwich reciepe with you. It is yummy yummy! I promise you will never want to buy store bought again! My daughter is a VERY picky eater and even she wanted seconds!

This would be a great meal prep idea as well. You can pair it with a fruit of your choice and water bottle to drink. It is easy to make and easy to pack.
Well enough of trying to convince you. Lets get started!

Here is what you will need:

  • Pilbury crossaints
  • Carton of eggs
  • Your favorite cheese
  • Prepakaged bacon or you can cook from scratch
  • Salt & pepper

Here is your Pillsbury brand crossaints.

Crack and sramble you eggs, adding salt and pepper.

Choose your choice of cheese. The majority likes shredded. I like the Taco Bell Nacho cheese taste. It has more flavor in my opinion. If you don’t like cheese you can omit this step.

You want to use the soft prepackaged bacon. This should be in the same aisle as the salad dressing and next to the crutons. If you have time you can cook your bacon from scratch and chop it up.

Cook your eggs. I have this omelet device that helps make my eggs more fluffy. To get fluffier eggs you can scramble your eggs on low heat.

    Lightly cook your bacon.

Next you want to load your crossiants. It’s not pictured here, but you add your cheese on last.

Next you roll those bad boys up and bake until your crossiants have a light brown tint.

Here is the finished product! So yummy you won’t want store bought again, and it’s very cost effective. You literally get more bang for your buck.

If you try the recipe leave a comment on how it turned out!

    Happy cooking!

    Here it is…

You park your car. You turn off the engine. You get out of the car. You can clearly see the JoAnns logo as you walk into the store with excitement. You look around at the selection of fabric and pick a bolt that you like.

When you go to the fabric store to buy fabric, the person at the cutting counter will cut your fabric in yards. When you measure your bust, waist, hips, etc. you will measure in inches or centimeters. I always measure in inches. It is easier that way for me.
It is important to know how to convert yards into inches to know how much fabric you will need for your project.

Here is a chart I created to make it easier for you.

Sew Russia: Why Is It Important To Be Optimistic?

Why is it important to be optimistic?

    Good question!

No one wants to be around a negative Nancy 24/7. I am just being honest.

Choosing to be optimistic is beneficial to your health. Circumstances constantly change, but your attitude and outlook determine your success. In order to see the light you have to be the light. You are how you act and how you react.

If you want a positive life You have to learn the habit of having positive thoughts and doing positive things.

I know…I know…this is easily said than done. What’s that saying? Rome wasn’t built in a day. Takae this journey a day at a time and I promise you will start to see changes. Your feelings will began to match your words and thoughts. You will begin to feel good.

What are some ways in which you can be optimistic?

    1.Think of positive memories

    • It can be so easy to dwell on the past. Most of the time when we dwell on the past we are thinking negatively. We think of things we could have changed and things we should have said. How about we take those experiences and start using them to empower us.

      2. Get Out, Talk to Others, and Be Active

      • Sometimes being alone is a good thing and at others it is not. Being with yourself for too long can cause you to generate negative thoughts. In some cases of thinking we tend to exaggerated reality or expect things that won’t truly happen. The only way to cure this is to remain in communication with others and get out of your “quite place”. Join a group of like minded individuals or people who have similar interests. Talk a walk, a swim, or read a book that’s full of information to learn.

      3. Find a Craft

      • Find something that you actually enjoy doing. This can help take your mind off of a lot. In most cases it can help you burn that negative energy.  Learn to sew, learn to play an instrument, learn woodworking, go workout, or join a class and learn something new. There are endless opportunities.

To build positive habits we must learn to repeat out actions and put words over and over. This is not an overnight process. Don’t expect yourself to get with the program within a week. Its going to take some practice and self evaluation, just like anything else.

The important thing is you start now. You will thank yourself years from now. To have a good life we must plant good seeds.

Sew Russia: 5 Ways To Grow Your Business

I can count with many hands how many times I have heard people tell tales of their ventures being unsuccessful. It can be very discouraging. It can lead one to think, well how will my goals work out if thiers didnt? Especially when they have cool items and services to offer.

Have you ever heard that saying “Different strokes for different folks? Well…it’s true! What works for one may not work for another.

While my issue isn’t with getting attention and sales, but rather organizing everyone’s requests (That’s another topic for another time.) I am happy to share some of the methods I use to grow my business.

      1. Be Serious

You have to treat your business just like you would  any job. No one will take you seriously if you do not take yourself, and what you do seriously. You would not lay around all day on your job so you should not do the same when it comes to your business. There is always something to do. Plan to attend a seminar. Learn a skill. Buy a book relating to your craft. Make a to-do list and get every thing done.

      2.Network with others

It is not enough to think that people will always come to you. Truth be told, you are probably not getting sales because people don’t know you or what you do. Introduce yourself to others. Join social media groups and actually chime in on the discussions that are going on. Show your interest in others and they will want to support you.

      3. Don’t be afraid

There is absolutely no room for fear. Everyone who has ever been great has made a mistake or a thousand. Everyone who has ever gained something great took a risk. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and into your destiny.

You have to be your number one supporter. No one will go harder for you than you. Make sure you are introducing your brand every chance you get. Post on as many platforms available. Especially dedicate your time where you receive the most engagement and referrals.

      5. Learn from others

I always say the greatest never stop learning. You will never know it all. Even when you become one of the best at your craft, there will always be something to learn. You can learn from those who have more experience than you, and also from those who have the least amount of experience than you do. Be open to learning. Be open-minded when it comes to learning. Your success depends on it.

You are not for everyone…and it’s ok. Do not get easily distracted by rejection. Your goal should not be to sell to everyone you meet, but rather to your audience. You need to know who your products are sepcifcally designed for and why. How will what you offer benefit them? Know who you are talking to and focus only on them.

I hope this was helpful! Feel free to message me with any topics you would like to hear more about.

Here is a sexy little number. The sides are cut out in a one piece style.

Who doesn’t love a one strap piece. It allows you to be sexy and conservative at the same time.
